What A Year For Weddings!

by Kay Bedford

Well it's been one heck of a summer!! With still a few weddings left for 2016 I just can't believe the reaction I have had from Brides, Grooms and Guests! It's been nothing short of amazing and I keep going from strength to strength. I have performed at too many weddings to mention, but I do have a few favourites! The first was a stunning London location - right on the Southbank at Shakespear's Globe.. It was a gorgeous day in London town for Jessica and Steven. . The venue was very unusual, upstairs above the gallery with views over the River Thames. I played the saxophone as guests arrived for the pre ceremony in the very stylish room (which later would become like an old skool Kisstory style rave!!) The bride was absolutely stunning and they were a match made in heaven. The guests were taken outside for photographs while the room was made up for their wedding breakfast. I sang throughout the meal and I knew instantly by the reaction I was getting that they were a great crowd and it was going to be a night to remember. The evening was a huge success, with my disco booth and club style sax - the atmosphere was immense. The wedding party were fantastic and danced all night!! I must say the photographer was the loveliest lady, I found her professional and extremely friendly. Since the wedding I have viewed her album from the day and the photographs are amazing - well worth a look if you are still trying to choose your wedding photographer.
