Michelle & Steve 19/5/18

So, I couldn't possibly BLOG every single one of my weddings, but a few this summer really stood out for me and this was one of them. I travelled up to the beautiful Suffolk for the wedding of Michelle and Steve. A simply stunning venue called White Dove Barn, tucked away in the countryside. I was immediately taken away by the tranquil setting and, of course, the weather always helps! This was a gorgeously hot spring day. Upon arriving I popped my head in the accommodation quarters to say a quick hello to the girls getting ready and then set about seeking the manager. Once we had talked and decided between us the best place for me to set up for the Ceremony and Drinks Reception, I began to prepare everything I needed for the day time part of this wedding. As the venue began to fill up with guests we all eagerly awaited the arrival of the bride. With a nod from the videographer I began to play A Thousand Years on the saxophone and the bridesmaids started to appear. When I saw Michelle she was nothing less than exquisite. I had met with her and Steve a few times prior to their big day and we got on so well. She was so lovely and I knew she would be a wonderful Bride to work with. After the ceremony I played outside for their drinks. A chilled summer selection of romantic classics, modern chart and chill out house. It was such a lovely afternoon and I could tell that their friends and family would be a great crowd that evening. When the wedding party sat down for their wedding breakfast I began unloading my car and setting up my Disco Booth. This was the first night I had ever used my new wooden booth and I was super excited to see it up in a venue. It really did look fab against the white backdrop and everyone commented on how cool it was... especially the photographers (who I had met previously at a wedding show.) This couple were so professional and the photographs they took of this wedding are amazing.
