Having a little light entertainment at your drinks reception can really compliment your special day. If you are wondering what kind of background music your guests will enjoy, and how you will make it work with your budget, venue and time of the year, then you are in the right place!
Kay can perform either indoors or outside, in large area's or more intimate spaces. This can only be decided on the day due to weather conditions, and it is no problem for her to adapt to suit each situation.
The music will be a reflection of your personal taste and you can choose any genre of songs which Kay will perform in her unique vocal and/or saxophone styles.
Listening to the live background music whilst your photographs are being taken and your guests sip champagne will set the tone for an enchanting afternoon in Sister Sax style.
A typical Cocktail Reception by Sister Sax would be a relaxing mix of Love Songs (Classic to Contemporary), Live Lounge Style Covers, Jazz & Swing, Soul & Motown and Chill Out Ibiza. Kay will create a bespoke playlist, specifically for each Bride and Groom, based on their song or genre requests.
Some couples choose to stick to the traditional music for this time of day, whilst some ask Kay to bring a more upbeat vibe to the afternoon, especially if they are not having Sister Sax for the evening Ibiza Sax set. Please see below for some ideas of particular song choices:

We can't recommend Kay enough! We had to postpone three times and added Sister Sax as a surprise for all of our guests. It was absolutely amazing! We chose Ibiza style saxophone for our reception drinks and I’m so glad we did. The atmosphere was brilliant and such a great performance.

Kay played chilled Ibiza for our welcome drinks, although we had to move inside because of the good old English summer weather, Kay still brought the party and an amazing atmosphere. Everyone commented how good she was.
Wedding planning is stressful and Kay really helped to make the whole process straightforward, responding quickly to questions and being reliable on the day, would highly recommend.
