To the new Mr & Mrs Doyle . . .

by Kay Bedford

I had the pleasure of playing the saxophone to the 'Wedding March' for an amazing couple on Friday 4th September 2015. Ever since they found me it has been nothing but smooth sailing (on both sides!) and a joy.

They came along to watch me one evening at the beginning of the year in Rare Cow, one of my regular restaurants where I perform. We instantly hit it off and I was immediately drawn to Aga with her striking looks, bright red hair and quirky character. They loved my performance and expressed how excited they were for me to play on their big day. They had been a couple for 10 years so it was even more of a special occasion!!

On the day I arrived at Forty Hall in Enfield which had been decorated in their theme of Red and Blue with stunning displays of Ruby Grebera. I played for the bride as her father walked her down the aisle, then during the signing of the register. I also played their exit song and during their reception drinks.

The photographers were great(www.newpixels.co.uk) and the venue was a Manor House set amidst beautiful gardens and ancient royal parkland, the perfect setting for the perfect couple.

Please have a look at the video I made for them, which is in no way professional but a little keepsake for them of their day as they did not have a videographer. The bride said she cried when she saw it (tears of joy!), so that's a good thing!!

Live music really does set a wonderful tone to any part of a wedding day or evening, and I'm not just saying that lol!
